Paul Larbey, President, Velocix, Alcatel-Lucent, UK
PAUL LARBEY is President of Velocix, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alcatel-Lucent. In this role Paul is responsible for the strategy, management, development and delivery of the Velocix Digital Media platform.
Prior to this Paul held roles in the Wireless product division including Head of Next Generation Mobile Access and Vice President W-CDMA Business Development & Strategy. In this role Paul was responsible for defining the strategic direction of the group, the five year business plan and providing marketing and sales support.
Previously Paul held a number of product & offer management, systems engineering and development positions including Director of UMTS Portfolio Management for Lucent Technologies' Mobility Solutions Group.
Paul started his career in software development and pre/post Sales Support with Cray Communications and joined Lucent Technologies in 1996 to work on spread spectrum based systems.
Paul is based out of Cambridge, UK and holds a first class degree in Electronics from the University of Durham, England.
