Martin Ortiz, CDN Product Manager, Telecom Argentina, Argentina Martin is responsible for directing Telecom Argentina CDN media services for new & traditional Media companies, including also the wholesale product definitions for relations with other IP backbones and ISP operators. He developed a series of streaming media services with a solid customer base, mainly Argentinean regional content owners and content distributions companies, including several segments from education, broadcasters, sports and music shows events to government accounts. He’s been attending Streaming Media East and West since 2005 and he is a frequent speaker for Triple play / Nplay / New Media / Digital TV events in South America. He has a Master Degree in Telecommunications and a grade degree in engineering. His professional interest are related to Net Neutrality Topics, Regulatory frames issues, DRM /Intellectual Property & Copyright issues, Creative Commons & “Tragedy of the Commons” issues, Long Tail economics on traditional media business, Internet Evolution in general and Broadband infrastructures competition in particular.
