Marcin Pilarski, Expert R&D, Orange Labs, Polish Telecom
Marcin Pilarski leads Orange Labs Poland's activities related to the commercial deployment of CDN technology at Polish Telecom. He plays a key role in building CDN testbed facilities within the France Telecom Group. He played a role in the integration of BGP based communities for CDN request routing and now actively investigates emerging CDN areas such as CDN interconnection. He was appointed as an assistant at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science at Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) in 2002 after receiving his M.Sc. in computer engineering. In 2003 at WUT he became the first Central European Principal Investigator for the PlanetLab Consortium and as of 2004 leads all PlanetLab related R&D activities at Orange Labs.
