A recognized industry leader in next-generation media technology design implementation and operations, Khurram Siddiqui has successfully leveraged the benefits and opportunities of distributing content to emerging digital platforms. Khurram has been working in information technology for 25 years and has been at the forefront of digital media technologies for the past 10 years.
Currently, Khurram Siddiqui is Vice President & GM Europe for iStreamPlanet UK and is tasked with overseeing all European Technology Operations and supporting all Sales and Business Development activities at iStreamPlanet’s new European headquarters in London, UK. Recently, Khurram was Vice President Product Development for Comcast Sports Group where he helped define their digital strategy and develop innovative products to serve their viewers with breaking sports news and video. Comcast Sports Group owns regional sports networks in 14 major markets across the USA and part of Comcast Corp, the world’s largest media company.
Prior to this, Khurram served as Senior Director Broadcast Operations at Major League Baseball Advanced Media and was instrumental in launching cutting edge streaming media products such as MLB.tv, MLB At Bat and Umpire Instant Replay which was voted one of Time Magazines best inventions of 2008.
Khurram also served as VP Network Operations for Peoples Broadband, a triple play technology start-up he co-founded as well as 16 years with Fortune 50 technology providers HP and Motorola.
