Chris Sharp, Vice President of Interconnection and Services Innovation, Equinix, USA
Chris works at the crossroads of technology and business. His current role is to define new products and services, and set business strategy for Equinix Interconnections globally. Chris developed the Equinix Ethernet Exchange, incorporating Ethernet services into the company¹s peering infrastructure. Previously Chris served as VP of Strategy for Reliance Globalcom and General Manager of MCI/Verizon Business Security. Since 2003 Chris has been responsible for merger activity valued over $850M in network services, hosting and security. Chris' career also includes the roles of Director of IP Innovation at Qwest.
